A veritable political earthquake occurred in Thessaloniki with the speech by Ilias Kasidiaris in Thessaloniki, on the national anniversary of October 28.
The hotel hall in which he delivered his speech proved far too small, as it was overwhelmed by hundreds of supporters of the Symmachia Ellinon and the patriotic space.
Equally massive was the turnout of people outside the hotel.
It was a veritable sea of people.
«EARTHQUAKE today at my speech in Thessaloniki! Thousands of Greeks defeated state and deep state! We are coming and we are the rising political force!» declared Ilias Kasidiaris himself after his speech.
He utilized particularly forceful language, linking attendance at the event to political confrontation against the state and forces he characterizes as the «deep state».
In his address, he referred to the rapid ascent of the Symmachia Ellinon while launching a fierce attack against the government concerning illegal immigration, national issues, and the economy.
He also made specific reference to issues of corruption.
«With just 3 weeks of political presence, we shook the entire System, we are coming and changing all that is wrong in Greece!» he stated characteristically.
